The Story Behind Fairways & Vines
My journey with golf and wine began in Sydney, where Christmas Day rounds with my father sparked a lifelong passion for the game. This parallel journey deepened through university wine tours in the Hunter Valley and continued during my consulting career, which allowed me to explore Australia's finest wine lists at client dinners nationwide.
Today, as a member of a Melbourne sandbelt club (Huntingdale Golf Club) and a dedicated wine enthusiast, I've discovered how perfectly these two pursuits complement each other – both rewarding patience, knowledge, and appreciation of craft.

Having spent significant time in the United States, studying at Harvard and working in San Francisco, I've repeatedly encountered American friends eager to experience Australia's world-class golf courses and exceptional wines.
Fairways & Vines was born from this intersection, combining my intimate knowledge of Australian golf and wine with an understanding of what makes a truly memorable journey for American visitors.
